Fire Resistance
Test Condition: Continuous exposure to a temperature of 300°C for 30 minutes, during which the rope maintains a performance level comparable to that of conventional steel wire ropes.
The Emergency Fire-Resistant Towing Line is engineered using advanced flame-retardant fibers and proprietary protective coating technologies. This innovative combination overcomes many of the limitations associated with traditional steel wire ropes, such as excessive weight, handling difficulties, and susceptibility to corrosion, while delivering an exceptional balance of lightweight construction and high strength.
Through a specialized manufacturing process, the rope retains its structural integrity and load-bearing capability even when exposed to elevated temperatures. Unlike many conventional synthetic materials, it does not soften, melt, or produce molten droplets under fire conditions, significantly reducing the risk of secondary damage during emergency situations.
By combining advanced materials with an optimized rope structure, this fire-resistant towing line provides outstanding reliability and durability in high-temperature environments. It is specifically designed to enhance safety during shipboard fire emergencies by extending the available response time for personnel evacuation, firefighting operations, and emergency towing procedures. This additional time can be critical in mitigating risks, protecting assets, and reducing the likelihood of catastrophic consequences.
